My name is Scott Fellows, and I was born in Solihull, near the city of Birmingham, England, in 1962. I have five
children to keep me out of mischief, and they are the centre of my little universe. I work in management roles
within the Retail shopfitting and building industry within the UK. I cannot remember not being interested in
aeroplanes or aviation as I would now describe it. The earliest recollections I have of the beauty of flying
machines is of an R.A.F. open week at Billesley Common near my parent’s home where the Olympus engines
of Avro Vulcans rattled the structure of our house whilst performing high G turns over the built up city of
Birmingham, at what seemed to be no more than 100 feet! I can still recall the sound of the glass shaking in my bedroom window as if it happened this morning.
My interest in photography relating to aviation grew from my friendship with one of my work colleagues, and we have grown
in this respect together. Robert Kysela and Checksix came into my life at RIAT 2003, and this relationship developed more fully at RIAT 2004.
For the future? Exciting times, an opportunity to develop and learn with like minded, dedicated enthusiasts from across the globe – a chance to communicate freely and be part of an energetic team
Scott Fellows
