I was born in Brisbane, Queensland in 1961. My family soon relocated from Brisbane to Port Melbourne, Victoria
where I completed my high school education. I went on to work for several private firms before commencing my career in 1983 with the Australian Government. I have since travelled to Japan, Europe, the USA and Canada.
My passion for modern military aviation and aviation photography is a direct result of visiting countless local airshows from a very early age. My main area of interest is photographing fast jets as I enjoy the challenge
that only this type of photography can provide.
Home is the town of Sunbury, Victoria where I live with my partner Tracey and our two children Kate and Gil.
I first met Robert Kysela at the Australian International Airshow, Avalon, Victoria in March of 2001. I am very pleased to be
one of the newest members of CHECKSIX and look forward to working with the team that produces the best in military aviation images.
