This years NATO Tiger Meet 2004 (NTM 04) took place at Schleswig Jagel Airbase in Northern Germany. Timing could not have been better as it also coincided with the 10th anniversary of Reconnaissance Wing 51 “Immelmann” this being why the planning for this year’s NTM was a little more involved than usual. If not for a couple of participants cancelling their attendance at the last minute (due to operational reasons), this years NTM would have had the largest attendance of all time. Nevertheless NTM 04 was one of the most successfully conducted in recent years. Perfect organisation together with good old fashioned north German hospitality also contributed to its huge success.

No other NATO event is better known to the public than the annual NATO Tiger Meet.
